Our mission
We host travellers, not tourists — people who seek connection, self-reliance, and authentic experiences over pampering and polished perfection. This is not a resort, and you won’t find room service or spoon-feeding here. What you will find is a vibrant café serving fresh food and coffee, yoga classes open to all ages, and common spaces where stories and friendships are shared.
For long-stay guests, our community kitchen offers the chance to cook, share, and connect on a deeper level. We welcome explorers, artists, wellness seekers, and everyday dreamers to slow down, live simply, and experience Gokarna as it truly is — raw, beautiful, and unforgettable. Committed to sustainability, we actively reduce insoluble waste to protect the soil beneath our feet. Here, we believe in travelling light, treading gently, and letting the journey shape you.
Our vision
To inspire a global community of mindful travellers who choose connection over convenience, and authenticity over luxury. We envision Gokarna as a hub for travel, wellness, and conscious living — where people of all ages gather to share stories, practice self-reliance, and leave a lighter footprint on the earth. By fostering sustainable hospitality, reducing insoluble waste, and protecting the soil, we aim to preserve the beauty and spirit of this land for generations to come
Our team
For over three years in Gokarna, we’ve grown into a family that blends local roots with global stories. Our team is made up of people from here and beyond, working side by side in harmony — from keeping the hostel warm and welcoming, to preparing fresh meals, to creating spaces where travellers feel at home.
We believe in cultural exchange, bringing together locals, managers, volunteers, artists, and musicians who all share one thing in common — respect for the space, for each other, and for the community we’ve built. Everyone who stays here and follows the spirit of our hostel becomes part of the team. Together, we move as one — with great coordination, shared purpose, and an open door to anyone ready to join our journey
